Bentley Parish Council consists of 8 councillors all of varying backgrounds, ages and sectors of the community so we are well represented throughout.
The Parish Council has one advisory committee – The Finance & General Purposes Committee which is an advisory committee to the Council and consists of 3 members of the Council and the Clerk.
Budgetary and internal financial controls;
- Risk assessment;
- Asset Register;
- Insurance policy;
- Financial Regulations; and
- Banking arrangements and bank mandate.
The committee will also propose a budget and precept, and will advise the Council on pay awards and contractual arrangements.
The Council has one member of staff who works Mon-Thurs 9am-3pm – Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer Emma Wadey.
